Complete 121 Seaport Boulevard | Parcel L2 | Seaport Square

This is the next project for Skanska at 121 Seaport Blvd which is the next block south of the 101 Seaport Blvd tower project. At least no one can say it's a glass box.

The people asked for more Manulife in the Seaport.

And it looks like, happily, we may finally be getting something like that.

Re: Seaport Square (Formerly McCourt Seaport Parcels)

That retail corridor between this and 101 is going to go well with seaport square across the street. This is really going to bring that core/destination/square to the seaport that it desparately lacks at the moment. Not to mention this is exactly what pretty much everyone has been asking for. Stop with the square glass boxes and bring some excitement to this height restricted area. This actually makes the buildings around it better, because having a lot of random shapes looks bad, but a bunch of nice boxes with a few standout designs i feel always works well. Having the centerpiece thus far of the seaport built right at seaport square along with the memorial is extremely fitting for a city square.

Did someone at Skanska find Jesus between planning these two projects?

Autumn lane is the "seaport hill" road from the bridge right?

That mega lobby is brutal to the pedestrian experience, right on a prime corner. Massing is definitely nice though. The curves are more than welcomed.

No. Autumn Lane will run parallel to the back of L1 and L2. It terminates at Boston Wharf Road going west (where Q Park is) and East Service Road going East.

Certainly didn't expect to see this browsing the forum today. What a pleasant surprise! That lobby is a little much, as data mentioned, but everything else is sorely needed and welcomed.

Well that explains the lobby.

A nice addition to Kendall Square 2 on the water without very efficient or flexible access to a hardrail. But hey we have the Silverline running through this area.
