12 story/140', directly next door to 9 and 11 story buildings, sandwiched between several ~500'~600' office towers.
Reading the comments section of any online news-like publication/article is generally a life mistake. Only crazy (likely also older) people hang out there. You're basically filtering for the most deranged responses possible.

Re: The Boulevard (née The Times/Littlest Bar) | 110 Broad St | Downtown

There's a few good/great ones out there.

from Seamus Matt's nimby killin' spray can in the Globe (yesterday);

“The City needs to end immediately the practice whereby locals—most of whom are transients who will surface in the suburbs when the kids arrive or seniors whose kids have long ago fled—to control what is/isn’t built. Instead the City must take control and promote and allow development which is in the City’s current and future economic interests.”

the only things i don't like about 110 Broad and 55 India Streets is that they'll fairly block the beautiful older buildings from the Greenway and Waterfront.

I agree. The people in Weston should decide the fate of Boston area buildings, not the people who live in Boston. /s

Just walked by this. The facade is definitely reading more orange than bronze. Clashes with the off-white/beige of the first floor.

Like good old Ned Flaherty, a shoe-in for the Nimby Hall of Fame. Where did he move off to?

Looks like they have started construction of a new roof for the Bulfinch portion of the building.

I actually kind of like the way that looks. It's something different for a change.

Thanks Beeline, 02124.

i like the project. i like the size.

But, the facade of the other demolished building should also have been preserved.

Re: The Boulevard (née The Times/Littlest Bar) | 110 Broad St | Downtown

I like the warehouse look. I see it as a nod to the old waterfront area that existed prior to the 60's urban renewal.

Although, once the bronze color cladding is complete, that look may not be there so much as it is now with the off-white.

Reminds me of the old Bedford Street Parking Garage.
