@ Van,
I saw that guy's blog, too. Really amazing stuff on that bridge, especially the archways on the tower roof. It just is nothing like you'd expect to find in the U.S.

![]() The MBTA could have used colored concrete on the Lechmere viaduct repairs, to match the original aged concrete, instead of the stark white. Mixing integral coloring into new concrete is not hard to do. |

Slightly off topic but does anyone know if there are any plans to replace the Charlestown Bridge. I remember it is one of the bridges labeled "structurally deficient."
