No, I think you're missing my point. The way to not spend a billion dollars on roads is easy. Just don't spend a billion dollars on roads, and don't advocate for it either.

Don't make assumptions like "we need to widen all the roads to handle extra traffic." Instead, break those assumptions. Say things like "we will never widen the roads, ever again -- not for the casino, and not for anything else either."

Have there been renderings put out for this proposal? In all seriousness, to reach the investment threshold they will have to put in a sizable hotel. Where will it go on that parcel? It is constrained on all sides. Presumably on one of the parking lots. The rooms would look out over oil tanks or stables. Awesome. Also looks like it would be right under a flight path. How high could they build?
