New Admins and Mods

Well it's great that Briv has returned. Now that he has returned, if he's willing, it would be great to get some additional members with administrative access, for business continuity sake.

DrFreeWind could be a nomination, as he is the one who got the process rolling on building a new site. Justin too. Anyone else want to nominate themselves or someone else?

Re: New Admins and Mods

Perhaps it's already assumed, but statler seems an obvious choice to have admin rights, given that he's already a mod and has been doing what he can to keep things going.

In general, I'd like to see at least 2-3 additional people with admin rights for continuity. Preferably active, long-term members that are not likely to go missing themselves.

Well I'd like to throw my hat in the ring, if only because I have a looooot of boring free time at work, so it could keep me somewhat entertained and obviously I'll have the time for it. I am also a moderator at SSC and am experienced at renaming thread titles, moving threads between forums, deleting off-topic/spam posts, banning spammers, and participating in group discussions about what to do about misbehaving legitimate members.

It would be cool if anyone had server access if we could setup an automatic backup, just in case anything like this happens again. The backup(s) could be used to reimport the site into a different host if needed in the future.

On a different thread, Meddlepal has said he's most of the way to doing this.
