Re: Dorchester Developments
I support the new housing but it's a bit sad to see the old Ch. 56 building, once a landmark along the SE expressway with it's space age sign, go out like this after being neglected for the last couple decades.

Re: Dorchester Developments
Some height is proposed there, but i'd say you'd need to bump up the height of the existing block by like, 30 stories before you'd be justified to use 'nimby-buzzcut-a-comin' catchwords like "dramatic."
Propose the FAA height for Christ sakes unless 12 and 14 stories respectively what they're actually shooting for... which in itself is just another lame outcome. |

Re: Dorchester Developments
i need to adjust that post; Let Millennium do the negotiatin'.... They'll propose 80' over the FAA, haggle with the nimby's pending final FAA (known in advance), and get the frigging' FAA height built (which is squat anyway).

Re: Dorchester Developments
Tucked back all the way down in Port Norfolk at the end of Taylor Street. The grey "house"/box finished earlier this year. I can't tell if they're going to build one right next to the wall, but there seems to be a foundation. I hope they get some nice sound-proofing, because the Braintree line is on the other side.

Re: Dorchester Developments
Thanks for the update, we don’t often get them for the more far-flung alcove neighborhoods… I love this tiny little area. Nice and quiet, which unfortunately I fear will change significantly when that giant development at the Italian restaurant gets built.

Re: Dorchester Developments
It would be great to see this lot filled. It has been vacant since at least the Kevin White administration. I wonder how much foot traffic the new retail expects to see
