Cities XL 2012 or Sim City 5?

I'm debating whether to get Cities XL 2012 (already out) or Sim City 5 (coming out March 5), any suggestions? Thanks guys, I would also appreciate it if you could be detailed in your answers too.

How about a 'Neither' option?

You could always get Cities XL for now and then get Sim City 5 when it comes out. I haven't played the Cities XL series but I used to play a lot of Sim City 4 back in the day and the new version looks like it will be pretty great.

Personally, I think getting both games is a better investment.

But that's me.

I'm not sure that either stacks up to SC4...

Honestly... if they recreated SC4 exactly, but with Cities XL graphics... it would be huge. Also, throw in the NAM mod from Simtropolis. Boom. Epic game.
