Boston ranked 6th Best Metro Area for Real Estate in 2013

After San Francisco, New York, San Jose, Austin, and Houston.

Of 51 major markets, Boston ranked #4 in investment, #6 in development, #8 in homebuilding.

Boston ranked #3 in public transit, #3 in walkability. #3 in education, #2 in buying retail properties, #1 in not selling retail properties (compared to buying/holding), #2 in buying hotel properties, #2 in buying office property,
