Re: Briv
I don't think that the money aspect is enough where we need to add paid subscriptions. Not sure of the exact costs but I don't think it would be more then 200 a year to host a site.
Some unobtrusive AdWords could work too. |

Re: Briv
I doubt many people would actually pay for the “privilege” of posting on this board.

Re: Briv
I have to agree - a paid subscription service seems silly for this site. If we need help with hosting costs I am not than happy to chip in (or just pay for it if I setup the hosting). I can't see this using more than 50-100$ a year on AWS or something.

Re: Briv
I have to say, this process would be super easy if Briv would spend 5 mins to give one of us access to this site. In fact we wouldn't even have to move.

Re: Briv
THANK YOU. Everyone is so eager to expend all this effort to move the site yet seem unwilling to answer the simple question: has anyone tried emailing the guy??

Re: Briv
I used to know how to do a lookup of who a domain is registered to, including name, address, etc. Can't remember how to do it anymore, but I'd even take the time out of a free day to email, call, or even show up at Briv's house if it would help and if I could get the necessary info to do any of that.

I used the link Data provided, that one was great. But seems Briv scrubbed some info out. Pretty sure I remember his address being in there at one time, in Weymouth or something. Anyway, don't have the info I need to reach out IRL. ![]() |

Re: Briv
New people on the ArchBoston Facebook group are complaining about being locked out of this forum, cause their new accounts aren't approved by Briv.

Re: Briv
Although I'm pretty sure I actually saw a new person post on here the other day. It surprised me.

Yeah it's strange. I get PMs all the time about activation. Yet here are new folks.
