Nominations: ArchBoston ugliest buildings
Nominate the ugliest buildings in the Boston area.
I'll start the ugly apartment towers along Revere Beach. Hard to pick one building, they all look like something out of a communist regime in the mid 20th century. |

Re: Nominations: ArchBoston ugliest buildings
I'll throw in the Carson Towers in Southie. Also the Rindge Towers in Cambridge.
The Sheraton The Revere hotel. Last edited by tysmith95; 01-30-2018 at 07:35 AM. |

Re: Nominations: ArchBoston ugliest buildings
This might be a little unpopular but I got to say I think this one is one of Boston's ugliest. Having gone to school around the time it was constructed only made it worse.

Re: Nominations: ArchBoston ugliest buildings
Yahh, not going to get into that. Maybe I should not include parking garages, since they all suck.
At least with the Harbor Garage the street level isn't too bad. Last edited by tysmith95; 01-30-2018 at 05:15 PM. |

780 Harrison Avenue, aka the Housman Medical Research Center. It looks like someone turned a men's room inside out. The only thing missing is the urinals.

Re: Nominations: ArchBoston ugliest buildings
^ Hear hear, that one is truly awful. Has to be the ugliest building in the South End if not more.
