I dont know about Northeastern, but BU promises housing for 4 years.
That's the main reason BU's my Early Decision school. Northeastern guarantees housing for only 3/5 years.

Well I haven't applied, I'm applying for Early Decision/Action by November.

Why would I only be applying to Babson and Bentley?

I'm applying to BU for early decision, and Babson, BC, Northeastern, Bentley, UMass Amherst, and Suffolk for early action.

If I don't like the results of that, I'll apply for regular decision to all of the schools above plus NYU, Brandeis, and Bryant

Dude, the SMG program at BU is great, but challenging. My advice to you if you end up at BU: Take advantage and live on campus the first 3 years. You'll meet more chicks and get a substantial amount of play. No matter how gay you think the greek scene is, join a fraternity at BU, namely Kappa Sig or SAE. The results will pay dividends for every semester you're there.. trust me. BU's greek scene is regaining the prominence it once held in 80's. More frats/sororities are being recognized and I was a fool to depledge because I thought the whole scene was "gay". I'll tell you what was gay - sitting in Allston playing NHL 96 every night smoking weed with a bunch of dudes.

Other than living in ALlston I would highly recommend BU SMG to anyone.

Thanks for the advice. I definately want to live on campus, the girls there are ridiculously hot (one of the best things about the school), and itll be a lot more fun that way

Yes, and I am in a 6 year program, still only being guaranteed housing for only 3 of the 6 years on campus.

How close to home those words ring. The only difference for me was that I was going to SUNY Buffalo then and the game of choice was Madden 2003. Glad those days have passed..

So you're suggesting that once all these new dorms are built, the local colleges will decide to increase their enrollment because now there's more space for students? I haven't heard any suggestion that that would happen. The key difference between students and cars is that the student population is centrally controlled by university administration based on the nature of the school not the amount of dorm space they can build, whereas the car population evolves naturally based on market conditions given whatever infrastructure has been built.
