Nothing like a fresh "crane shot" in the morning to get you erect and excited at the prospects of another fine day
keep-em-commin! :=} |

In Boston, the cranes end up being taller and more impressive than the buildings themselves. Nevertheless, nice updates and keep them coming! |

Yesterday morning at her final opening remarks for Technology Day -- MIT's annual reunion and reconnection for Alums from 0th to 70th Class -- Susan Hockfield, "President and Professor of Neuroscience" -- retiring 16th President of MIT -- positively gushed (nearly inappropriately for a family audience) -- "Have you seen the CRANES -- there are two cranes towering over the Institute... Novartis and Pfizer.... You must see the CRANES" below you see an a bit more sedate President Hockfield, as she addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos, last winter after being named by President Obama to be the co-chair of the new US Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP). |

Driving into the SPID on the Pike this AM -- somewhere near to Fenway Park -- I saw what appeared to be a small crane high up on 111 Huntington (on the side closest to the Pru itself) -- couldn't get a picture of it
Has anyone seen it and does anyone know why it is there? even better has anyone taken a Pru picture in the last couple of days that might show it? |
