When you go to the landing page ( As in http://archboston.org/ and NOT http://archboston.org/community/ ) how about right under the forum link we have an option to go to our photo sharing section of the site and a blog section. I honestly wouldn't mind paying like $x a year for y amount of photo storage and unlimited blogging (how much space can text possibly suck up?), where 95% goes to hosting the photos and blog posts and 5% goes to keeping the forums going and perhaps hosting blogs? Eh? Eh? Anyone?

One of my biggest annoyances on the site is going through older threads and finding a bunch of red exes where images once were. Allowing members to host their images on the site would ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen, but the cost of storage and bandwidth has always made this infeasible. However, lately those costs seem to have come down to the point where we may be able to host images without too much pain. I'll look into it.
