I've been reading archboston for a while and when I see a discussion going toward sport or real estate topic, it is reminded to everyone this forum is for architecture not else.
What is the most general forum for Boston, other than craigslist and city-data? |

Every Boston forum is targeted at something specific, I think. I've yet to see any general forums.

Probably City-Data.
http://www.city-data.com/forum/boston/ It's really general. The problem is that most topics (sports, development, architecture, politics, etc) don't get that specific because it's such a non-specific community. Also, because it's popular, it's where a lot of Boston's unhappy citizens go to vent. It can be an incredibly frustrating place, but it can also be a good guilty pleasure. |

city-data combines everything but there's no separation for different categories. Look messy to me. |

Lemmingtrail is the noise board alternative for local music. The two used to be sorta rivals (not really though since most people posted on both), but the traffic for each is a lot lower now than in their heyday.
