I divided my points into 1 & 2 specifically to say that doing "2.x" wasn't really doing that thing until you *actually knew in advance* when the bridge was going up and could get all the re-routes...

Somerville needs some "last 1500 feet" lanes on the AM inbounds to Davis Sq and Lechmere. Who do I contact?

I noticed, for example that innermost College Ave @ Davis ban parking 12mid to 6am....

They *did* dig more than they needed, either below the road tunnels or between them (and ar Federal reserve an "alongside-and-below")

Washington DC has made an art of banning parking in the rush direction. You just have to get merchants comfortable with the idea that most customers after 4pm will arrive by bus.
