Re: Kenmore Square North

Disgraceful. Boston should be ashamed.

Re: Parcel 12 | Massachusetts Avenue at Boylston Street | Back Bay

Really happy about this. Earlier proposals left the ramp in place, originally decking over it and then just leaving it open, if I recall correctly. Moving it down Newbury always seemed like the...

Re: Briv

Yeah, it seems Briv is actively avoiding contact with aB, which is... odd. I don't blame him for not wanting everyone to know his address and phone number (this stuff is still available if you know...

Re: Amazon HQ2 selected - and not Boston

I'm not saying this is ok, but it's basically boilerplate.

Re: One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion

I'm sorry I don't like that thing you like, but I used the word once then jokingly quoted myself. I'm sure there are things that other people like that you don't like. No need to be offended.

Re: One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion

That crown is a tacky and awkward afterthought.

Re: Suffolk Downs Redevelopment

So my theory that Philadelphia made the most sense because it was centrally located between NYC and DC wasn't wrong exactly.

While this report may turn out to be true, nothing has been announced.

Re: One Post Office Square Makeover and Expansion

Obviously in the minority here, but I agree. That crown was tacky and awkward afterthought.

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Aren't most grocery stores (and big box stores in general) fully enclosed and mostly windowless anyway? This is just a lighting problem.

Re: Scape Student Housing | 1260-1270 Boylston Street | Fenway

How did this rifleman post sneak through my block filter?

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

My point was simply that these are in fact two distinct buildings, both structurally and aesthetically. As someone who is generally unhappy with the superblock landscrapers (such as those directly...

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

What is your point exactly?

By your definition anything outside of the UK is a minor league. Fine, you can put it that way, but it doesn't stop other leagues around the world from being wildly...

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

^ Sample size of one, but:

I'm not a fan. I'd never trek out to the suburbs to watch a match. However, I would definitely go to at least a couple of matches at an urban stadium because it seems...

Re: Garage Nightclub Redevelopment | 20 Linden Street | Allston

I know, it's only 10 minutes or so to Boston Landing or the B line (and I think a similar distance to west station when it's built), but if you're trying to convince people to use public...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I don't see the problem. This is essentially a partially enclosed plaza. I'd prefer the wide open entrance to a glass door.

Re: How Tall Are Boston's Buildings and Should They Be Taller?

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make him "holier-than-thou."

I'd say this is a straw man, but you actually seem to believe it. I have not seen this sentiment on aB. I think any...

Re: Garage Nightclub Redevelopment | 20 Linden Street | Allston

I understand why the developer wants the parking. It's the nimbys pushing for more that bothers me.

People will probably think I'm crazy, but if I were king of Boston I'd put a commuter rail stop...
