I love Marathon weekend beyond words. So many people everywhere. Such community support for the runners. People spend hours standing out in whatever weather it is just to cheer on complete strangers...

I think the Newbry is the dumbest renaming of a building that I've ever seen. They created a word trying to mimic an accent that doesn't exist. Why not just call it "The Newbury"?

That said, more restaurants with seating on the Harborwalk is undoubtedly a good thing for the SBWF. Right now, the problem isn't with rigidly mandated open spaces...

The Greenway is going to be an indispensable and spectacular part of Boston, just like the Comm. Ave. Mall is now. It hasn't even been open a year yet....

Southie the neighborhood has always been separated from Downtown. The idea that the Waterfront is Southie is artificial and new. Before the BCEC, it was a bunch of industrial businesses.
