Re: Logan Flight Additions

Well props to you for digging up a post from over 3 years ago.

Glad to be wrong about Boston landing non-stop flights to Hawaii.

One Project, Only One

If you could have one project done in Boston, what would it be? Just one. Doesn't matter if it's a transit project, a new building, a refurb of an existing building, a new park, bike lanes on a...

Yea it is. They have all of their red-eye flights - Seattle, San Francisco, San Jose (seasonal), San Diego, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Portland (seasonal), Salt Lake City and Denver...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

I'll be curious to see which gate they will use.

EDIT: Looks like they will be arriving and departing out of Terminal E. Here is the schedule someone posted over in Airlines.net:

BOS-HNL 8:00am...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

I just don't see how JetBlue can add TATL until Massport expandes Terminal E and that's still 3 years off. You have Koreanair coming. Primera (assuming their added routes materialize) that will be...

Re: General Infrastructure

Because the Southeast Expressway is woefully under-built for the volume of cars it needs to handle. It also doesn't help that the "frontage roads" are also too narrow and poorly laid out.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Another week, another new route added by Primera. This time they're adding non-stop flights to Boston from Madrid. 3 weekly flights. They're also adding daily flights to Newark and 4 weekly flights...

Re: Marriott Moxy Hotel | 240 Tremont Street (Parcel P-7A) | Theater District

Even the renders don't hide the awful condition of the roads and sidewalks in this area.

Re: Motor Mart Tower | 201 Stuart Str. | Park Sq | Boston

Does this mean Maggiano's will be closing? If so, will they open up somewhere else in Boston?

Re: The New Office Thread

I am guessing this will mean at least 200-300 jobs will be moving from Deerfield, IL to the Boston area.

This should be a nice boon for JAL and their flights to Tokyo - Narita.

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Glass will do that. Glass is beautiful and stands up very well over time.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Primera Air continues to add flights to Europe, now Frankfurt will be added. Starting in summer 2019 they will fly 4 weekly flights between Frankfurt and Boston.

They're also adding daily flights...

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Damn, over $400 million for an MLS stadium is insane.

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Which means this location is a non-starter for the stadium. The Stadium itself will cost well north of $100 million, this would mean the Revs stadium would be the most expensive in MLS history.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

That might be a tough sell to people - an 8 hour and 45 minutes flight on a single aisle plane.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Many people over on airliners.net have mentioned Boston is the largest unserved market from Brussels in North America, or at least one of the 2 or 3 unserved.

Hopefully this service does well and...

Re: Encore Boston Harbor Casino | Everett

Thanks for that nice breakdown.

So the Massachusetts casinos will not be able to comp drinks to those paying table games, or sitting at the video poker bar. I am curious if that might turn some...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

How different this view looks now from say 15 years ago is pretty remarkable. This area of the city has undergone such a nice transformation.

Re: Logan Airport Capital Projects

The check-in area/hall at Terminal C is pretty large, almost too big. I am wondering if Massport has ever though about relaiming it for more space post security?

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Air China very doubtful given they won't be able to get the authority to run Beijing to Boston or Shanghai to Boston.

Air India is also pretty doubtful, imo. If they came in Emirates and Qatar...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Interesting. You'd think they should be able to fill a 321 to London year round.
