Re: P&G close to deal for Fort Point land next to GE headquarters

I know it is 6 acres but. with a $200 million+ land acquisition cost (assuming that is the #) coupled with the fact that you can't go very high here (300ish feet?), it's going to be interesting to...

Re: Continuum | Barry's Corner | Allston

The Deli in that building has a very fine Pastrami sandwich for those who like that sort of thing. It's not better than Sam LaGrassa's and it's not cheap (is good pastrami ever cheap?) but it is a...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

That's not accurate, is it? I thought some of the Wegmans (like Natick) were well in excess of 100,000 square feet.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Would be nice to see some more competition on the Denver route even with United, JetBlue and Southwest already flying it. It's not easy to find a reasonable return fare from DEN->BOS if you don't...

Re: Boston (née New Brighton) Landing | New Balance Complex | Brighton

I hope not. This development needs some life after 6pm beyond the existing retail (and to help support the new retail).

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I went to the Celtics game Friday night and it was a total cluster fu#@k getting out of the Garden after the game (and it was a blowout and a ton of people left before the game ended). They were...

Re: Pier 4 Condo Building (Former Anthony's site) | Seaport

As someone who is only 5' 8'' that microwave placement actually looks fine to me and better than on the counter or under the cabinets. But for anyone taller I could see how it could be annoying.

Re: The New Retail Thread

As we all know, for some reason, Faneuil Hall is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. I was surprised to see it gets 4 stars on TripAdvisor with recent reviews commenting on how...

Re: Encore Boston Harbor Casino | Everett

Supposed to open this June but that may be in serious jeopardy giving the status of the Gaming Commission's investigation into Wynn's suitability to hold a Massachusetts casino license. The...

Re: Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

When I hear comments like that, I usually think they have a tenant who has indicated they will be taking the space but that the documentation has not be executed yet.

Re: The New Retail Thread

Are your suggesting your list above is a list of towns that voted in favor of legalization and then banned it via town wide vote? Because it's not. For the third time, which towns had town-wide...

Re: The New Retail Thread

By law, any community that voted in favor of legalization, that now seeks to ban it indefinitely, must have a town vote with a majority voting in favor of the ban. As I said above, if a community...

Re: The New Retail Thread

Wayland has not voted to permanently ban recreational stores. The town-wide vote is not until spring 2019. Once again, is there a single example of "the rich towns banning marijuana" that anyone...
