Wasnít this area the dry dock where they built the tunnel segments? They jacked under the active train lines on the west side of Ft Point. Here they buried the tunnel segments when they didnít need...

Its not a free market. Zoning, design review, environmental review, low income set asides, union labor requirements, etc. all increase the cost of housing.

You can't build a three decker anymore...

Low income set asides increase the cost of building and therefore reduce the marginal buildings. Better to reduce regulatory restrictions and cost of building. Encourage denser, taller housing....

Reducing taxes for taxpayers just letís them keep their own money. Itís not a distribution to them. We are the government itís not a separate thing.

Gas tax isn't going down and it recently went up, sales tax on cars, auto excise tax, auto registration fees, etc. Folks who drive on the Mass Pike are paying for 93. MBTA fares don't come close to...

I believe the Whittier and Hawthorne garages are owned by the condo associations so I am not sure they would be willing to sell. They fight every development.
