Yeah - it reads as a skinny rectangular building composed of two extra-skinny rectangular volumes, which is cool.

Yeah some of it, I believe, is back of the house for the children's museum (and or maybe a group entrance, for buses?) That institutional connection should help ensure good upkeep too fwiw

No. The tunnel is shallow (see historical photos above) and it isn't that different from the other adjacent building foundations. And it's actually the dewey square tunnel, which is about 60 years...

Maybe (hopefully?) it will taper towards less green and more blue as the panel install moves upwards toward the top of the building?
