Re: Hook Lobster Development | 436-440 Atlantic Ave | Downtown

To respond to my own question, digging through the previous posts on this thread, shows that a developer already had submitted a 305' proposal.

Re: Hook Lobster Development | 436-440 Atlantic Ave | Downtown

It says that a 305-footer has been permitted to be built there. I don't know if that means someone proposed 305 and they accepted, or if they established the max height as such.

Re: Wynn Everett Casino | Everett

Agreed. My block list keeps on getting richer.

This thread (and the winthrop sq one) is a honeypot for posters who can't shut the heck up. There are a lot of people who need to ask themselves,...

Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Funny, I've always noted how it gets its use from the fixie crowd, and this google view shows exactly that. The bike delivery crowd uses it as a remount and seen at night is the occasional...

Re: Boston Globe Site Redevelopment | Dorchester

This is a conservative redevelopment plan. No significant additions, just re-use of the existing structure.

It probably makes a lot of sense financially. Activate the space for the next decade...

Re: Parcel P-12 | Chinatown

Understood. Let's hope they don't "Winthrop Square" us if it gets accepted.

Re: Parcel P-12 | Chinatown

This PNF is a work of art. It could be a coffee table book.

Re: Roxbury Developments

What is this?

It looks like a temporary fire escape while they build the phase 2. I am very surprised that they built those back porches at all, if they knew there was a chance that they were...

Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport

I have zero taller ants when it comes to people taking something very valuable for granite.

Providentially, your photo is from the same direction and nearly the same angle as this photo of arrowstreet's model:

Re: The Huntington | 252, 258, and 264 Huntington Avenue

The developer was super smart about this one. By offering the Huntington Theater a new 2nd floor lobby, and even keeping the old theater, it conflicted those people who have a motivation to complain...

Re: Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike PARCEL 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

I thought I remember reading somewhere (maybe here?) that the reason the developer got the rights to the terra-firma plots was with the promise to develop the air plots, and that the reason it has...

Re: Northeastern University - Institutional Master Plan

Is there any PNF for ISEC II?

I saw some massing models in the master plan, but would love to see what might be specifically planned.

Re: Seaport Parcels M1-M2 | Seaport Sq. | Seaport

If there is one that Boston can be uniquely proud of, though, it's this portmanteau:

Re: Lowell 2015 update

Yup. The lot parcel 1950-11 is owned by someone else:

The next two lots down (1950-1 and 1695-21) Davidson are owned by the developer but not the parking lot.
