Re: 50 Liberty @ Fan Pier | 50 Liberty Drive | Seaport

Looks like a crappy condo built on the beach before the 2008 financial crisis in Florida.

Re: Open Thread

Well Columbias response was so shitty that Baker basically fired them on live TV.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Not sure about how the times bank, but HNL would be a great spot for a stopover or layover to Australia and New Zealand.

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

I like the MT better.

There's nothing wrong with One Dalton, but nothing that stands out either (besides the height).

Re: Logan Flight Additions

And Norwegian is going after the leisure traveler more then the frequent business traveler with their trans Atlantic flights.

But just another point on Athens, Emirates flies from Athens to...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

I could see Delta throwing a seasonal aircraft on that route.

Though I think the Athens to Boston route is the type of route that a MOM Boeing aircraft would be perfect for.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Yah i'd expect either Jetblue or Norwegian to serve this route once the A321LR's get delivered. Norwegian has 30 orders for A321LR's. Jetblue has the option to order some, although they haven't...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Vienna might be too far for a narrow body.

Id also say that Athens is a big unserved city. Both for tourism and ethnic travel.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

I think for tourism, lots of people will just pick the cheapest ticket to Europe and take cheap Ryanair flights or trains from there.

Re: Logan Flight Additions

I tried out the Norwegian flights to Ireland/Northern Ireland out of PVD last week, I'd recommend them. They were both fully packed. I guess Norwegian is finding a market, despite flying between...

Re: The Boston Three Decker as Housing Stock

Well the three deckers have certinally withstood the test of time. I do like them better then other cities cheap (relative) housing stock.

Re: Briv

I have to say, this process would be super easy if Briv would spend 5 mins to give one of us access to this site. In fact we wouldn't even have to move.

Re: Briv

I don't think that the money aspect is enough where we need to add paid subscriptions. Not sure of the exact costs but I don't think it would be more then 200 a year to host a site.

Some...

Re: Indianapolis, a Bike Haven City

The advantage that the flyover and sun belt states have over boston is that the streets are much wider to begin with, so building bike lanes is easy.

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Well, in the pru's case, that was the same time period that highways were built ripping through neighborhoods.

I'm more shocked that they were able to build storrow and the pike.
