Re: Forum Move: Technical Issues and Feature Discussion

I believe briv is still the only one with backend access and the ability to export the db. Last I heard statler was discussing things with him, but I don't know what is going on at this point.

Re: Forum Move: Rules, Governance & Funding

The final nail for me was the victimization complex on display above. I think it is fairly clear that this is the same person. I don't think this is the place for this discussion though. Statler will...

Re: Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

I think you two are looking at something different from the rest of us. Yes, the panels are intentionally "ribbed," but if you look more closely you can see "flattening" or distortions along the...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

How fortunate that under all those torn layers was the same image of a woman walking. Really worked out for the marketers.

Re: Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

^ Thanks for the insight. Makes sense.

These panels do have a suburban backyard vibe to me. I don't think the boat shed comment is unwarranted.

Re: Forum Move: Technical Issues and Feature Discussion

There seems to be some consensus forming around xenforo. The software is extensible so even if these features are not baked in, there may be addons already created. I haven't taken the time to hunt...

Re: Parcel Q1 | 2 Drydock Ave. | Seaport

Did they actually change out the spandrels? I know perspective and lighting can have a large effect on how appear, but on the more recent image the glass seems to match perfectly. The earlier images...

Re: New Forum Discussion

Some more thoughts addressing previous posts:

1. Who is in charge?

My idea for this is as follows: We elect an "admin council" of 3-5 trusted members. Once we choose a webhost, each of these...

Re: New Forum Discussion

There is an "unofficial poll" (read: not put up by Statler). I personally think a little more discussion would be helpful before any voting.

1. Regarding a static archive (by static I mean no real forum functionality, just words and images):

In my opinion this should not in any way determine whether or not we move....

Re: [Poll] Moving to a new forum/what software to use
