Re: MIT Campus infill and small projects

That info seems to be missing from the articles. I'd thought I'd heard in the past that they've done 100-year ground leases, and would suspect that might be the case here too.

Re: The New Retail Thread

"survived as long as they did" was what I was responding to.

The only reason they had any substantive clientele in there - and (we assume) were able to make payments - was the mode of clientele I...

Re: The New Retail Thread

I'm not shedding any tears over it, but as far as the answer to your question as to how it survived this long: it was perhaps the only place in Harv. Sq. that could accommodate large parties of...

Re: P&G close to deal for Fort Point land next to GE headquarters

This totally caught my eye in the same way! "Strategic neighbor management plan" - usually we see one of two flavors:
1) "oh we have no ideas at all about what we're going to do yet - come help us...

My guess is that the above may have been a poorly worded attempt to clarify/emphasize...

Re: MXD II | 325 Main St. | Kendall Square

I think your post helps answer its own question, when considered in conjunction with the comments above...

Re: MXD II | 325 Main St. | Kendall Square

Re: MIT East Campus - Kendall Square Gateway | Cambridge

I think aB owes this building an apology; it's turning out to be one of the more architecturally interesting and relevant structures built in greater Boston in a while.

Thanks for the great photos...

Re: Gables Seaport (née Waterside Place 1B) | 505 Congress Street | Seaport

I agree. This isn't just an artifact of digital photography limitation.

Re: One Kenmore Square | 560 Commonwealth Avenue | Kenmore Square
