Re: Demolition of Dearborn School, Roxbury

Re: Update Planned for Faneuil Hall

I do go to the Newbury Comics there about once every two weeks because I am a luddite with CDs. It is just Newbury Comics seems to be doing an end run around me and keeping 22 CDs on the shelves. ...

Re: Dorchester Developments

I agree with you with you on the China Sky. However, the real problem is the build it fast, sell it fast, and stock it with lousy tenants on the southerly side of the intersection. I like the bones...

Re: Dorchester Developments

Savin Hill - Regarding Adams Corner: Any new owner should start with a broom and windex. The China Sky building seems it hasn't received a dime in infrastructure investment since the 80's.

Re: South Boston Infill and Small Projects

June 1994 - The T made the Harcourt Condominium pay $6,300 for an air rights easement which extended very slightly (Bay Windows) over the SW Corridor park. Book 19185 Page 125 of the Suffolk County...

Re: South Boston Infill and Small Projects

They could claim adverse possession, but how many tens of thousands of dollars is a condo board or building owner going to spend proving possession when they can pay a few thousand off to the T or...

Re: South Boston Infill and Small Projects

For the sake of the homeowner, do not post these. The BRA has been known to spend thousands, many thousands, to extract air rights payments or subsurface payments from owners of buildings that have...

Ashmont (already happening).

I hate this comment. As someone who lived on Ashmont Street from 1974 until 1991 (and my mother still lives there), it was always a nice area, with fraying around...

Re: Revere Beach

I'm middle aged. I've seen these proposals for Revere Beach since I was a teenager. Hate to be a pessimist, but it is Revere. Call me when 1/8th of this gets built.
