Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Also, as was revealed when the Pats were trying to find a permanent home post-Fenway, pre-Sullivan Stadium and there was talk of strong-arming Harvard into coming to an arrangement that would allow...

Re: BU Development Thread

my biggest takeaway from the renders is that they're being willfully deceitful in presenting the above-ground green line through comm ave as some symmetrically tree-lined, lush boulevard, a la the...

Re: Boston Nightwalks

i emailed my parents the link to this thread, so they could "virtually" walk around in your footsteps and see what the city they used to live in...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Re: Official City Hall Plaza Proposals

whether a fan or not, most would have to agree that city hall was at least daring -- had some balls, took some chances, pushed things into new territory. so much of boston architecture in the past...

Re: Kenmore Square North

not many -- certainly not thousands -- with copper-clad bow windows and the detail work throughout, no. this is closer to the charlesgate hotel (obviously not AS nice) than it is to just some...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

i like a lot about MT very much, but the unfinished roof thing continues to take away from the overall positive impact for me (i come from the s shore pretty often, so it's hard for me to...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

it's all idiotic, if not malicious. if oudouranda (however you spell that...) was making $$$ off it, it'd be one thing. what a lot of hot air over nothing.

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

presumably you are aware of the many -- MANY -- high-rises and skyscrapers in boston have received power-cleanings in the past decade?

not to mention much smaller buildings and homes?

it's...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

when the mech screen is wrapped up, this'll be essentially the exact height of the pru -- whether it's ultimately three feet shorter or five feet taller or whether people nitpick about what point on...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

they may never "officially" admit it -- for whatever weird, boston-crazy reasons -- but after having been to the site yesterday, i'm pretty convinced this will ultimately wind up being taller than...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

while there...
