DZH.

Save pro/rel for r/soccer & r/MLS.

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Thanks for pointing this out. This made up criterion is absurd and crafted solely to support their narrative. It's transparent as all hell.

I'll also point out that soccer happens to be the only...

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Tailgating culture at Gillette is born out of the opportunity & resources (ie. giant parking lots) to do so. The pregame culture at urban stadia typically doesn't involve tailgating because the...

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Stop right there. The Revs are in MLS, Major League Soccer. Boston has 5 pro sports teams, not 4.

Re: South Station Tower

As much as it pains me to say this, odurandina is right. It's not Hines holding this up at all. It's the State/MBTA.

Re: Logan Airport Capital Projects

I flew on AC a couple weeks ago and it looked like no work was being done over there, so I was confused about the status of the construction.

Re: Site in Hub top choice for a soccer stadium

Brian Bilello has said repeatedly that the Foxboro training facility has 0 impact on any urban stadium location. If a stadium is built in Boston, they will still train in Foxboro. This makes sense...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Throw me in that column of loving the wide gateway as well.

Btw, was exHUBerant an intentional misspelling? Even if not, it works.

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Radiant slabs are really really expensive, though the price is probably comparable to the custom glass roll up/parting mega doors being discussed & all the HVAC needed to properly control the indoor...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

As I expected. Stairs are really easy to build (more like put together, everything just comes in pieces). They can go up in a matter of days and they're installed by the GC. They had to go in after...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

That is incorrect. Per the PNF & BPDA approval process, the res tower and hotel actually are Phase II, but the deal was Phases I & II would be built concurrently. Phase III is the office tower.

I...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

This should help. The Hub on Causeway is literally directly in front of the TD Garden/North Station and serves as both of their new main entrances. The red MBTA connection on the east side is new as...
