Re: Logan Flight Additions

I think the only route that they got rid of is Oslo and CPH. The carribean destinations just moved to Providence, and they have a bunch of Irish plus an endinburg flight in Providence. Providence...

Re: North-South Rail Link

Plus you're forgoing the real advantage of NSRL which would be an effective capacity increase for both north and south stations plus making it much easier for the northern sector of the commuter rail...

Re: North-South Rail Link

I like Barry Bloomstones comments. It makes no sense to use 2028 numbers or numbers from the future. To accurately convey the costs of the project using 2018 numbers will be the most accurate.

Re: Longfellow Place (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

The people who built the millennium tower in SF weren't fly-by-night outfits.

Re: North-South Rail Link

A big pro is that you're increasing capacity a good bit at both north and south station with a nsrl.

Re: North-South Rail Link

I don't think that Musks plan would work well for the NSRL. The real benefit of the north south rail line isn't connecting the two stations. Riders can already hop on the orange line and go from...

Re: Reasonable Transit Pitches

The hov lane would have to start after the leverett onramp, unless the state is willing to build more lanes. I think I93 south in that area is a greater chokepoint then north though.

Make the hov on I93 south in Somerville/Charlestown so it's in affect in the afternoon. Make it 24 hours to make it simple.

Traffic regularly backs up in the afternoon and evening rush hour, no...

Re: General MBTA Discussion Thread

Although a Springfield to NYC trip will cost a good bit more then a local trip. I'd expect it to be at least 25 bucks or more in fare revenue.

Re: Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower (GCG Phase I) | 50 Sudbury St | Gov't Center
