Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Four seasons and mandarin oriental will probably always be outside of what I'm willing to spend, so I likely will never get the hype over them.

Boston has a persistent lack of hotel rooms that...

Re: Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Re: Parcel P-12 | Chinatown

How is there "no possibility" of profit? Usually the allocation of a businesses resources are for the most profitable opportunities, that doesn't mean that what gets passed up on is unprofitable.

Re: Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

I will reiterate though, a little extra housing would have been better, they totally could have added a few extra floors.

I never got his height fetish, we aren't the stubbiest major city in the US by a long shot.

Also, I was held up for months before getting approved as a new member. This isn't anything new. Having a trickle of new people with new ideas to replace the old members who get busy and stop coming...

You and vanshnookenraggen are both great, but you get bonus points for having a screen name I don't have to copy and paste to spell right.

Re: Amazon HQ2 RFP

You're like a caricature of an old school Bostonian.

Honestly, if amazon thought everyone in Boston was like this they'd probably NOPE right out of Boston's proposal. Just sayin

Re: Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

I agree with this. Cambridge has very little land, and a whole lot of people who want to live/work/play there. They need to start building upwards where they can, and this is one of the places where...

Re: The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Re: The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

I know in Portsmouth this has been done for nimby appeasement. But now they've learned to demand buildings with "smaller footprints" so that we'd get actual separate buildings, not a half assed...

Re: The Benjamin & VIA (née One Seaport Square) | Parcels B-C@Seaport Sq. | Seaport

Didn't set off my snarkometer either. It could actually be that leases are selling like hotcakes and they don't need the gaudy advertisement anymore, which would be a good thing for boston...
