God this thing is an embarrassment. Shorter, squatter, uglier. Even the "great hall" is worse. The shape isn't even the worse part. The facade looks like it was designed by a two year old on LSD....

Re: Providence developments

Exactly. It's an icon, and to demolish it would be a travesty.

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Yes! I wish someone would demolish one of the big fa downtown skyscrapers and replace it with several taller, skinnier ones.

Re: How Tall Are Boston's Buildings and Should They Be Taller?

Pathetic cities with nothing going for them try to build massive, one-shot edifices in the hope of making themselves look great. Sure, I would love to see a massive building in Boston, but I just...

Re: Boston in the 1960's

I wish you could still find sights in Boston that looked like this-seedy, urban, cool, and beautiful in a way.

Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Re: Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower (GCG Phase I) | 50 Sudbury St | Gov't Center
