Commute -- When you redesignate the Oneil as I-95 you've now cut the possible connection between I-93 on the north and the route to the Cape along Rt-3. As the south shore develops it is inevitable...

Not going to happen -- because of the $ tied to the Interstate designation -- Rt-128 is the single most important highway in Greater Boston and will remain tied to the Interstate Highway...

Equilib -- that would be the right place to change to 3 then 2 lanes

Rt-128 as we know it really runs from I-95/Rt-1 split in the north to the I-93/Rt-3 split in the south

Omaja -- that wouldn't really help much -- as the studies associated with the project have shown - - Each of the leafs of the clover all have the same problems of exiting and entering traffic...
