Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

From the pics on this thread, I can tell that the hub is basically the opposite end of the block as TD Garden. But after posting yesterday, I looked North Station up and remembered reading that its...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Is there going to be a T subway stop at this site? Presumably there is one for the Garden? I'm not a Boston native, but isn't North Station really close by?

Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

I agree these top 2 renders look pretty dope. As with anything a picture can be misleading. Lets see how it looks in a few years when it actually goes up.

Millenium Tower and 1 Dalton are both...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Will anyone still be breathing by the time all of those get topped off??? How many of those are likely to go up in the next 10 years?

Back Bay has all 3 seven hundred footers in the city. Downtown...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Excellent angle and shot of the Back Bay skyline there. Can't wait for 1 Dalton to at least have its cladding complete.

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

There are exactly 51 buildings in NYC that are taller than 1 Dalton. And another 12 that are 700+ but just shorter than it.

Re: 1000 Boylston Street | MassDot Pike Parcel 15

This looks a really good project. If it was closer to the Pru, like 1 Dalton and 111 Huntington Ave, it would add the perception of the Back Bay having a rival dense core like NYC and Atlanta (well I...

What was Boston like in the [recent] past?

This is from a different thread, but I was wondering. What exactly made Boston a "cesspool" in the 1960s? Was it organized crime? Poverty? Poor economic times?

Also I was born in Fenway in 1983...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Would that be because Hainan already has that route? I noticed that while Hainan flies to JFK, they fly to small cities I've never heard of (prolly still 10 million plus population tho, lol). JFK...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

When the Pru went up in 1964, was it really the tallest building in the world outside NYC? I read that on wikipedia and if thats the case, its mind boggling how far behind Boston has fallen.

To...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

So its really 756' and not 742 as widely reported? Beats the Pru by one Robert Parish.

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

The downtown buildings make stuff like the Back Bay Marriott, Crown Plaza look tiny. After the Back Bay big 4 of 200 clarendon, Pru, 1 Dalton, 111 Huntington, I think the Marriott/Crown Plaza are the...

Re: Four Seasons Tower @ CSC | 1 Dalton Street | Back Bay

Man those Back Bay high rises look quite tall in person and just in Back Bay skyline pics. But when you have the panoramas with downtown/FD, it makes them look tiny. Some of those buildings are 35-38...

Re: Logan Flight Additions

Yeah I have a friend in CT (don't know which part) and they use JFK. Of course they used to live in NYC before. But I am pretty sure they are closer to JFK than to BOS. That might explain it.
