Re: Fantasy T maps

My fave Blue is the preferred route shown (MGH-Back Bay-Kenmoreish-HBS-HSq). I'd like it to connect to West Station if it can.

If Back Bay freaks at the idea of going via cut-and-cover under...

Re: Amtrak / Intercity Rail Discussion Thread

^

Re: Assembly Row (Assembly Sq Redevelopment) | Assembly Square | Somerville

Here's hoping that we emulate Portland Oregon and build a LRV/BRT/Bike/Ped bridge for the Urban Ring whose southern landing is at Assembly (and other end at Casino or Wellington)

Re: Assembly Row (Assembly Sq Redevelopment) | Assembly Square | Somerville

Jouhou's and RandomWalk's reasons seem to work together to favor above ground structured parking:
1) Brownfield site, assume toxics under there
2) Water table, structured parking below ground is...

Re: Amtrak / Regional Rail Discussion Thread

The trend in transportation is bigger windows to make your personal space feel bigger. If anything the 1980s were the era of little windows (e.g. the little slitty windows on Amfleets of the late 70s...

Re: Fantasy T maps

I think that putting the Arlington Heights stop at the Arl-Lex border is not good politics:
- If Arlington is willing to have a stop, put it in their midst.
- If Lexington won't host a stop...

Re: The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

I can't picture where the Urban Food Hall (floor plan on page 16 ) is going to tie in to Causeway. Will it be between the O'Neill building and the exsitng open covered gap?

Love the "old north...

APM is next phase (see upthread at around post 813 on August 2nd)

The renders and video show only stuff that has been designed, while the APM is "looking ahead"

Re: Crazy Transit Pitches

^ Or you can just say (admit) "I don't know." That's a perfectly fine bottom line too, and more productive.

Re: Crazy Transit Pitches

Can I ask for the bottom line here too? The bottom line for a question of "When's the last time anyone asked the EPA?" will be a four digit year or a calendar date, and not much more.

Re: Crazy Transit Pitches

Please lead with the bottom line next time. You seem to have gotten so caught up in sharing scary images and denouncing insanities that you didn't, until about 10 posts in, get to the bottom line.

2) Assume Green has come out from...
