It's been crazy busy on my end so just catching up on various items. Thought I would take a moment to inform people of some of the NIMBY arguments we are already - of course - seeing on this project. Besides the typical "neighborhood character" "parking/traffic" tropes there are a couple more...

We have only ever worked with local architects. But on this one, we are looking for new ideas and new perspectives, that might bring something different to the built environment.

We couldn't agree with you more! The Bank is only open 20 hours per week and the drive thru is a relic from a different era. I don't know when the lease expires but we would like to see a more appropriate use. A cafe with outdoor sitting would be nice!

Ok that is incredible on so many levels. First of all look at those doors! The brick detail! The arched windows! And public transit every 15 minutes from Portland to Yarmouth???? Who wouldn't love that type of transit these days? ~ C

Since Jonathan let the cat out of the bag....can confirm. This is a potential project we have been working on. Renderings have been shared....look forward to the conversation on this one! ~ C

We are making progress! Some complicating factors with the press box we need to work through and then I’m ready to price everything out while we go through planning and get permits! ~ C

Thanks everyone for the kind words! 45 Forest still has a little work to be done in the courtyard and inside the building. 97% there. Finishing the Winter Street projects is really is going to make a huge difference in that area in terms of pedestrian friendly streetscapes. Way better than...
