One Post Office Square looks phenomenal in its context. I was just admiring it a few days ago. Very few buildings around One Post Office and South Station are glass, so both really add.
We might just be arguing semantics. Of course the owners will try to get whatever fees from hosting other events they can. But these stadiums are built specifically for the game of soccer, to create more of a European club feel, so I don't think of them as "multi purpose venues" by design.
I can see that are still working up to the top finishing the floors, so I'm hoping they'll add some more lighting when that's complete. Probably not. I think the renders had the top lit but obv that means nothing.
Anyone think 'smarter' streetlights, and even AI, might help traffic? These changes seem pretty modest. I wonder which city has the most advanced traffic signals.
Anyone have any guesses as to whether the top "fin" will ever be lit up?Or maybe some lighting around the cylinder on top? The area looks very different with the garage gone. Can't wait for congress st to open up.
That old residential building in the foreground with the random, broken up lines is the ugliest building Ive every seen. CX is doing a decent job of incorporating it
I only caught a quick glimpse, but looks the crown lighting has been completed with some additional skinny lines below the original lights. Looking forward to some new photos.
Love how they have Rutherford Ave mostly underground in that render. There could be a huge greenway with a great view of the West End where that hideous street is now.
