Saw that but didn't snap a pic. On the big grass area there are a ton of surveyor stakes, and they were doing core drillings in March/April. Curious when the old DOT will come down...
A few years ago they admitted that the reason the existing trees kept dying is they didn't have room for the root systems, so they wouldn't replant any trees until a full park reno. Now I'm curious how those 'saved' trees will survive unless they're doing work next to them to help the root...
Came to post the same - you beat me to it. Looks like the 'same' staircase as now but no switchback any more. Curious what kind of entrance is on the other side - the station almost looks hidden compared to the new Southbound headhouse.
No photos today - phone was acting up. But demo from Binny is almost at the mid-point, and they presently started demo from the Broadway side, so I'd say 2 weeks and we're done...
