This map is Planning staff's recommendation's for the new downtown height overlay as part of ReCode. Right now the city is hoping to get this (and many, many other zoning and land use changes) through Planning Board and City Council by October. Unless the PB or Council specifically recommend...
The jetport expects a 17% bump in available seats for summer '24

Plus a statement from a Breeze company spokesperson:
It will be Saturday-only for the summer I believe. WN is opening at crew base at BNA this year so hopefully in the future there will be more frequency.
I assume right now it's because WN is getting hit hard by Boeing delivery delays and the unclear status of the MAX-7.
If they had more birds available I could see year-round MDW being a no-brainer along with winter-seasonal MCO / FLL and summer-seasonal BNA / DEN.
An interesting little fact....in 2023 PWM had the 6th highest overall load factor for Southwest in their entire North American network at 83.6%. Beating out PVD (80.9%) and MHT (78.2%)
The amount of freight traffic going from the IMT / Yard 8 to the Mountain Branch is exactly 0. Freight moves really wouldn't be impacted by the Ferguson location. Pan Am /CSX has been involved in this process and If there was even a possibility of freight interference they wouldn't have allowed...
What a horrible, embarrassing mess. It's frustrating to see that neither side is willing to budge although Federated clearly dug themselves into this.
Bayside is in such a sorry state. A giant hole of vacant lots right in the middle of the peninsula....I wish the city would just seize all of...
Looks like 2x weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.
I'll be honest I can't see that route doing too well. ISP has been one of the lowest load-factor routes for Breeze out of Portland (it was below 60% last year) and with AA resuming LGA there's already A LOT of lift to the NY market.
It seems like it will be very similar to what was proposed in 2017-2018. Like the previous proposal it will also be a "Home2" branded hotel with frontage on Fore and India Streets with a pocket park along Middle.
I’m hearing that the Thompsons Point team has teamed up with Cathartes Development based in Portsmouth, NH on a 6-story, 250ish unit residential project on the site. They intend to formally submit an application sometime in early July.
This building has been the tallest in its city since 1970. At one point several years ago it seemed like it was going to be superseded in height by a new development.
Looking ahead at some peak summer schedules, we're definitely seeing the impacts of delivery delays from Boeing and Airbus. There are some small but notable frequency reductions in July and August
Delta PWM-ATL is only 2x daily with 737-900's and A321's Traditionally it's 3x daily in the summer...
It would be huge for ridership to/from Brunswick. Eliminating that reversing move would make the DE basically time-competitive with driving to/from Brunswick and be a good option for commuters working at Mercy / MaineMed.
