Gentlemen Hall (www.myspace.com/gentlemenhall) is starting to blow up! And for those who don't know, I'm the drummer.

This website, www.ourstage.com , Comcast and MTV partnered up to sponsor the first ever "Best Breakout Artist Boston VMA" competition, and out of 139 bands we won! As a result, we got the above 25 second spot shown in New England (there were seven other competitions across the country) about an hour into the Video Music Awards this past Sunday night.

Along with that, we'll get national airtime on one of MTV2's rock video shows, and you can check out our interview and two of the songs we played at the competition (at Six Flags New England) on Comcast On Demand.

And one last thing -- come out and see us LIVE! We're having a CD release party at Harper's Ferry in Allston on Saturday, 9/26. It'll be $10, but with that you'll get a free pair of glow-in-the-dark glasses and a free sample of our very own Ben & Jerry's lemonade smoothie (yes, we have a B&J's drink!). Check us out before we make it big, cuz once we do I won't be able to talk to you little people any more :)

I thought the second half of the thread's title would be something like "and you'll never guess what Kanye did to us!"

I think all your shows should come with the disclaimer - "mention ArchBoston and you'll get 30% off".

^ Hell, if anyone plans on coming, let me know and I'll ensure you pay only $5 dollars!

Here's a full song from that competition... it's titled "Stun Gun."
