Ok, it's been a month since his last post (http://www.archboston.org/community/showthread.php?p=45971#post45971) so I figured it safe to ask.
He also has been missing from Wired New York (his other online haunt) since Feb 24.
Maybe he is just busy with real life stuff or maybe he is on an extended tour of Europe and will return with another colossal photo essay.
Or maybe he is just sick of this shit (http://www.archboston.org/community/showpost.php?p=45700&postcount=92).

I thought it was sorta suspicious when somebody posted that link to that ablarc architects website in North Carolina with those crappy designs in the gothic colleges thread I believe and then ablarc disappeared. Now I mysteriously can't find it... did somebody out him and briv covered it up? its all a little fishy... he never said where he was from what I can remember and never talked about anything current in Boston you would see with your own two eyes. he only commented on pictures
He hasn't taken umbrage at people discovering his firm's site before. I think he even acknowledged many of the designs were a result of the expectations of the client base.

I didn't realize that wasn't the first time...

Yeah, Suffolk, I ended up deleting those posts. It wasn't about trying to protect his alter ego, or anything like that. I just thought those posts were irrelevant to the thread, and I felt it was getting too personal--it was just becoming awkward. So...

That is too bad, I always enjoyed his posts even if he was wrong 75% of the time. ;)
Seriously his threads were really good and very thought provoking, this would be a real loss for this forum.

ablarc has been in Boston in the past few years and did a couple of Boston photo threads from when he was visiting. "A Good Looking City" and his Custom House threads are still up on the old SSG forum.

He's never made a secret of the fact that he now lives in Charlotte, NC. He posted a great photo essay on Davis Square a few years ago, but I don't remember where it is.

I liked that post as well. It may have been lost in when the board crashed a couple of years ago.

Yea that was kinda awkward. I can see why you would delete them but at the same time it's good to see where someone who exudes and aura of authority is actually, at least partially, coming from.
