Portland, ME- Ryan Shannon recorded three assists, Curtis Glencross collected two goals and Mike Wall made 29 saves as the Pirates defeated the Worcester Sharks 3-1 on Saturday night in front of a crowd of 6,621 at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Note: I've been to many Pirates games in my day, not during the last few years, but I can't remember the last time I ever saw the civic center this full of people. Maybe it's because it was just Saturday night, but either way it was a nice sight to see.

Yep, I was at that game too. Good stuff.

I talked to a kid who works for the Pirates and asked him about that fight at the end of the first period where was blood all over the ice. The player from the other team was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He had his nose broke and a bunch of teeth knocked out. Don't fuck with Trevor Gilles.
